These prawns are becoming rare to find in town. .
The Suckling Pig is probably one of the best I have ever tried. The Char Siu with its Maltose was also addictive. Hard to fathom why I discovered here so late either. Totally amazing Pig!! .
Another wonderfully fragrant dish. The Baby duck meat was tender with crispy skin, but the sugary tea aroma was so exotic. A must order. And priced so fairly. .
Fried with Duck Meat, Prawns, Gai Lan and lots of eggs. This was the elegant hotel style of fried rice without being too dry like a Dai Pai Dong version. Really appreciated this. .
Very tofu soy like in taste, but smooth as milk. Probably one of the best tofu fas I have had in HK.

A few of us bloggers wanted to come and try out the Greenery 雅苑座's French May Buffet. There were a lot of choices for seafood, and surprisingly the roast meats were very good too. This has been a favourite buffet spots for some of us, and the price is quite decently priced if you download the coupons here. Only around $400 per person.
The Tenderloin was ok but not much flavours. But it was the gratinated prawn which was surprisingly great. .
Snails on pomme puree with herbs. Part of the French theme this month. .
The mushrooms and beef are quite good. The beef tongue is actually more like a salt cured version. .
The Char Siu can be better or worst depending on your batch, but you just need to be patient. .
Choices include Tuna, Tuna Belly, Salmon, Snapper, Hamachi, Taiwanese Abalone, etc. .
I like the mini crawfish, but apparently, some people don't like it much. So they can have Crab instead. .
The Spotted Crab is ok. It's their clams and scallops which are great here. These include 貴妃蜆, 紅毛鏡, 花甲, 沙白, etc. . .
This is KENT's dessert. Filled with some bananas and chocolate and cream. ****************************** We had a lot more food than the 12 photos allowed here, and even the Tiramisu we had in the end was quite good, dare I say up to par with the Sabatini version if not more!. A very economical Buffet indeed, and this French Menu is attractive and runs until June.

This was recommended by a foodie friend, and it was truly exceptional indeed, after being cooked well on the charcoal bed. The portion seemed bigger than the size suggested. ~ 8/10 .
It’s not often when you see a properly Dry Aged and Cold Smoked combination. The charcoal grill already imparts some smokiness onto the steak but prior to that it has carried some cold smoked aroma. Double smoked meat, interesting indeed. Considering the massive size of this slab of meat, the price is reasonable. Properly charred with beef and grilling flavours. Great in all aspects. ~ 9/10 .
Reasonably priced, this was cooked perfectly with a lot of condensed lobster taste with some truffle paste taste. The pasta of Macaroni was done good enough. A Must Order here. ~ 8/10 続くって。。。

After trying this 3 times, I think it is missing Shoyu. A little bit bland. AVOID. 6/10 .
With a mixture of the normal White Soup with some Stronger Broth and Garlic Oil. This has been amazing everytime I ate it. The noodles have improved from my last post on my blog, and the balance is really good. Some people like the Kotteri style Strong broth noodles more, but for me this is utter perfection and balanced. Encore!!! 9/10 .
At $30 this is a bargain. It is quite sweetish and melt in you mouth stuff, with very good bed of rice under and that sauce is amazing stuff. The perfect accompaniment to your ramen bowl and a MUST ORDER. 8/10 .
This is flame grilled first and quite flavourful. Some people not watching out for their cholesterol will say it's not fatty enough. For some others, they appreciate it for its tenderness despite the lack of fat. Very good, thick cut of char siu. In fact, better than the one served in the ramen bowls itself. ~ 8/10 .
Slightly spicy. These are very good too. Just order some anyway. .

I appreciate the shop for improving this formula. Having changed the skin exterior, this is less sticky. But somehow it seems more overly steamed than grilled. I think they could do with LESS WATER when grilling/steaming the gyozas at the same time, see if it fixed the limpy problem. 大阪王將's gyoza beat here hands down easily! 請自己去試試吧! ~ 5/10 AVOID .
A little too soft before. Probably prefer it to be served with more fruits like back in Japan. .
Doesn't have enough 風味. In this regard, 豚王 is much better! .
The Black Ramen is perfectly balanced, with the very good Char Siu quality and Egg. The other items need more improvement. Bet they will become all defensive and won't listen to customers criticism, as is usual in many places. 問下你意見, 其實都係 social 氹下你以為佢會 care. 但有無想過, 我們也有住過日本吃過無數咁多餐. 想同你講嘅, 都只係想大家可以食到最佳的水準, 又可幫到你地賺錢! 大家好話姐. GETTING THERE!
